Glaxon Reveals New "Texas Red" Flavor of their Specimen Pre-Workout

Supplement line Glaxon has been quickly growing in popularity here in 2020, and the brand's pre-workout "Specimen" has become a huge hit over the past few months as a stim-fueled and well rounded pre-workout formula providing users with Energy, Focus, and Enhanced Performance.

Initially Specimen Pre-Workout rolled out in only two flavors, Alien Pop and Molecular Candy. Glaxon has just revealed an all new flavor which is only going to be available at Sports Nutrition Retailers Rock's Discount Vitamins in Texas.

The All New flavor is going to be called "Texas Red" which appears to be a flavor inspired by Red Soda. Texas Red will feature all the same ingredients and macros as the original Specimen. This one again will only be available at Rock's Discount Vitamins so if you're not in Texas and want to get your hands on this one eBay may be your best bet.

We're hoping to be able to get our hands on a tub to give it a test drive.

Chef Robert Irvine's FitCrunch Bar to Debut a New "Lemon Cake" Flavor at The Arnold Next Week!!!

Last night we showed you a teaser of what Chef Robert Irvine's All New Fit Crunch Bar was going to look like, however we only saw the bar, we didn't actually know what the flavor was going to be. Our initial guess was "Lemon Bar", we were close, but a little off. Turns out the all new flavor is a tasty "Lemon Cake" flavor.

This all new Lemon Cake Fit Bar will be making it's initial debut in about a week at this year's Arnold Expo where visitors will get a chance to taste this all new tasty treat from FitCrunch.

FitCrunch Bars are an incredibly popular and well liked, almost "Candybar" like protein bar. This one similar to the other flavors will feature 16 grams of protein, 3 grams of sugar, and a fairly lean 190 calories.

After making it's initial debut it will debut at the Arnold, like many of Fit Crunche's products, it will be available exclusively on Amazon. This one will be a seasonal flavor, which is a bit odd rolling out a citrus flavor in the midst of winter, but if you want to try this one you better grab it quick.

Black Skull USA Introduces 5 New Gourmet Flavors to Their Protein 7 Supplement

The fast growing Brazilian Supplement Brand Black Skull has greatly expanded the flavor options of their Protein 7 Blend Protein Powder which features 7 different sources of protein.

This product has been on the market for a while and features a nice selection of flavors, however they've recently made a huge expansion of flavor options. Fit Crunch Teases What Looks to be a Lemon Flavored Fit Crunch Bar | Set to Launch at The Arnold

Robert Irvine's brand Fit Crunch makes some of the tastiest protein infused and functional food snacks on the market. The brand recently rolled out a Jalapeno Cheddar Puffs snack.

In similar fashion to last year, the brand has something special planned for The Arnold Classic Sports Festival. The Fit Crunch isn't revealing too much, they have showed us an image of the bar, which seems to have some type of yellow drizzle on the top of a white bar.

We're guessing maybe it will be some type of Lemon Bar, though we'll have to wait until next week at The Arnold Sports Festival to find out.

Ghost Reveals New Vegan Protein Flavor Chocolate Cereal Milk

The Ghost Supplement line has revealed an all new flavor addition to their Ghost Vegan Protein line-up. Currently Ghost Vegan Protein is available in three flavors including Pancake Batter, Banana Pancake Batter, and Peanut Butter Cereal Milk.

The lifestyle brand has announced an all new Chocolate Cereal Milk flavor. If as a child you loved the milk leftover in the bowl after a bowl of Cocoa Crispies or Cocoa Pebbles, then you're sure to love this one.

This all new offering from Ghost is set to launch this new flavor option on March 7, which just so happens to be National Cereal Day.

G Fuel and Doom Eternal Team Up to Roll-Out a Spicy Demon'ade Flavor

Gamma Labs, maker of the popular G Fuel supplement and Doom Eternal have teamed up and recently revealed an all new flavor of G Fuel.

This all new flavor is called Spicy Demon'ade, and is going to be a "spicy lemonade" flavor. No word yet on what type of spice, but seeing as how other supplement and energy drink blands have rolled out Jalapeno Lemonades or similar flavors we're guessing it's going to be something along those lines.

Not much information outside of that has been released, we don't know the exact flavor, no launch date, not much else. If this new Spicy Demon'ade flavor is going to follow suit like most of G Fuel's limited edition releases it will likely come bundled with a free shaker and collectors box. We'll keep you posted as we learn more.

InnovaPharm Teases an All New Topical Supplement Ahead of The Arnold

With The Arnold Festival fast approaching we're already seeing many mystery products being announced and new flavors being rolled out in anticipation of the festival. This should be one of the busiest weeks of the year for the supplement industry. Last night we showed you the all new Whiskey and Cola flavored The Grind from Axe and Sledge.

Well today we have more exciting news, this time from Innova Pharm who's rolled out a couple new flavors in recent weeks. Innova Pharm on their Instagram account has been teasing an all new topical product coming soon. They've only given us blurred images of the container and packaging, however that's enough for us to take a guess that it's likely either going to be a weight loss product, or a CBD product.

Topicals traditionally are either fat burners, skin firming supplements, or CBD products. We're almost leaning towards CBD here just because when looking at the image above it almost seems as if the name of the product is three bolded letters that look like they could be "CBD".

Only time will tell, and fans of the brand shouldn't have to wait long, we're guessing this one will be revealed in the coming days, if not at The Arnold next weekend.

Axe & Sledge Drops a Whiskey & Cola Flavored Version of The Grind

Well The Arnold Classic is just a few days away, and it's around this time of year that pretty much every Supplement Brand under the sun is going to be rolling out a lot of new exciting flavors, as well as entirely new products. We also tend to see a lot of brands rolled out as well.

One such interesting flavor that we're just starting to hear some buzz about is an All New Whiskey and Cola flavored version of The Grind EAA Formula from Axe and Sledge. While "cocktail" themed flavors aren't necessarily brand new to the world of supplements, we've seen a number of Mojito and Pina Colada flavors out before, but this is definitely a first, a Whiskey and Cola.

What makes this unique flavor even cooler is the packaging. The black tub, which is different from the brands usual bright colorful tubs looks like the label on a bottle of Jack Daniels. Not much information is available on this product, though we're going to assume it will feature the same or roughly the same macros as the others. The Grind contains 5 grams of BCAAs, 2.5 grams of EAAs, and currently comes in seven flavors including the likes of Unicorn's Blood, Shark Bite, and Tropic Thunder. This all new Whiskey and Cola will make the eighth flavor option for The Grind. 

There's very little information out there currently about this all new flavor, though we did catch a glimpse of it over at BestPriceNutrition.Com where right now you can Pre-Order a tub for $39.99. We're going to assume this one will debut and get an official reveal at The Arnold next week.

All New Nut Free Outright Bar Now Available | Outright Sunflower Seed Butter Chocolate Chip

Just days following the release of Outright Crispy Bar filled with crispy protein pieces, the brand has revealed another all new snack which is now available for purchase.

The new offering from Outright Bar is a nut free version of Outright Bar which is made with sunflower seed butter, pea protein, and maple syrup as the sweetener. This nut free bar is also 100% vegan friendly.

This real food based Outright Bar features 17 grams of protein, 16 grams of fat, and 300 calories. Despite a slightly different formula and macros, it has that same great Outright Bar texture and taste.

The New BEAM Supplement Company Reveals the Last of Their 4 Mystery Supplements

Over the past week or two the new supplement brand BEAM, which is short for Be Amazing, has been slowly teasing out the first of their four supplements set to roll out at The Arnold in the near future.

The new brand first announced their Whey Protein, then a Collagen Peptides Supplement and most recently a Vegan Protein. Well today the brand revealed the fourth and final product set to debut at The Arnold. This product has a simple named, called simply, Beam Pre-Workout.

You can checkout the full supplement facts panel below. It features 250mg caffeine per serving, along with 2500mg L-Citrulline, 1600mg Beta Lanaine, 1500mg Betaine Anhydrous, 1000mg of Taurine, along with Tyrosine, KSM-66 Ashwagandha, and a few other additions.

It seems to be a fairly well rounded pre-workout and will initially launch in two flavors including Mango Lime and Watermelon Candy. It will come in a 40 serving tub if you take one scoop servings, or 20 servings if you take the full 2 scoop dosage.

BEAM Pre-Workout will be launching March 4 and will be available at least initially exclusive through the BEAM online shop.

Reviewing Amazon's Solimo Silver Energy Drink

So Amazon is many people's first place to go looking for supplements. While Amazon has had some issues over the year's with quality control and selling expired and counterfeit supplements, there's also some Amazing Deals on Amazon as well. I recently picked up two 24 cases of Bubly sparkling water for under $10 with shipping.

Many supplement fans aren't aware Amazon actually has several private label brands of their own supplements called Solimo. I've only tried one product from them which was a Solimo multivitamin.

I just recently learned Solimo aka Amazon also makes energy drinks. I was curious to see how they'd stack up against leading energy drinks like Bang, Monster, and others. 

For those unfamiliar with this line, Solimo comes in two flavors Solimo Silver Energy Drink and Solimo Red Energy Drink, the Silver being a citrus flavor and the Solimo Red Energy Drink being a bit harder to nail down, kind of a non-descript Redbull style energy drink flavor with a hint of cherry.

I'm sure the first thing most people will want to know is the caffeine content. The caffeine content is 152mg of caffeine per can. They also pack just 10 calories, 310mg of sodium, and 0 grams of sugar.

One of the things you'll likely like most about this energy drink is the price. Where as a case of Bang, Monster, or 3D Energy will likely set you back $20 to $30, possibly plus shipping, a 12 case of Solimo Energy Drinks can be had for $14.99 for a 12 case.

Not that the packaging is all that important, but the packaging and the cans seems cheap, these will get dinged up and dented quite easily, and I actually had one burst in my trunk, although in fairness it's probably not wise to leave loose energy drink cans banging around loose in your trunk.

Many users compare these to Monster Ultra Energy Drinks and I kinda get that. They aren't bad, but I'm also not super impressed. That said many customers rave about these drinks and prefer them over a Monster saying the taste is the same or better and the price can't be beat.

To me, the taste was somewhat similar to a squirt with a bit less acidity and a bit less sweetness. My one complaint is I do pick-up a slight chemical or artificial flavor taste on the backend, however again, in fairness I tend to pick that up on some Bang and Monster flavors that others love so I'm especially sensitive to that.

Is it worth trying? I'd say it's worth dropping $15 on a case to try them out. If you're someone who drinks an energy drink a day this will definitely save you a pretty penny and if you like the taste which many seem to, it's about as good as a Monster Ultra.

New MyoBlox Skywalk Limited Edition XO Series Love Potion Now Available for Purchase

MyoBlox is a newer supplement brand which has been quickly making a name for themselves with their Loco Pre-Workout, Blo Pump Formula, and Skywalk Nootropic, among a number of other recent rollouts the brand has had like their Multivitamin and Vegan Omega.

Monster Energy Ultra Rose & Ultra Fiesta Now Available + Where You Can Buy Them

Earlier this year Monster Energy revealed they would be rolling out two all new flavors of their Monster Zero Sugar Energy Drink, Monster Ultra. The flavors were an Ultra Rose a Cranb-Raspberry Lemonade, and Monster Ultra Fiesta, a mango flavor. Both coming in vibrant brightly colored cans.

It's been announced that this week these all new flavors are finally available for fans of Monster to buy. Apparently these have now made their way to retailers around the country ranging from liquor stores to convenient stores, and major supermarkets.

According to the r/EnergyDrinks subreddit, users of the forum have reported finding them at random liquor stores, AM/PM Gas Stations, and Walmart, so there's some places to try for those wanting to get their hands on the all new flavors of Monster Ultra.

Not many reviews have started circulating as of yet, however we have seen a few people reporting back on the mango flavored Monster Ultra Fiesta, they say it tastes exactly like the Mango flavored Reign Energy Drink.

Allmax Hexapro Protein Popcorn Review

Reviewing Allmax's Hexapro Protein Popcorn | Functional Food Protein Snack

So today we're going to be doing a rundown of Allmax Hexapro Protein Popcorn. This isn't a new snack by any means, it's been around for at least a couple months, but I've noticed a lot of people haven't tried this one, and it's one of our favorite snacks here at The Supp Plug, so wanted to take a few minutes to give a rundown on this product and give you our review.

Hexapro Protein Popcorn is a functional food snack containing 40 grams of protein in the entirety of the bag, and 10 grams of protein per serving, as there's 4 servings per bag. This is a snack put out by Canadian Company Allmax, and it uses their Hexapro Protein which is available in the form of tubs of protein powder as well. Hexapro, as you might guess from the name, gets it's name from the blend of 6 types of protein contained within it.

This snack comes in two flavors including Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. While both are delicious, if I was pressed to choose between the two, I think I'd pick the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, and oddly enough, I'm a huge fan of Peanut Butter and not a huge fan of Dark Chocolate, but the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt is quite tasty and isn't overly bitter as dark chocolate can sometimes be. 

Allmax Hexapro Protein Popcorn Macros

Okay, so looking at the macros, a serving is one cup. This may not be as filling as a protein bar as popcorn obviously is somewhat airy, however the popcorn is definitely coated in chocolaty protein which adds some density to it, so its more filling than your average popcorn. A one serving cup also contains only 250 calories which is fairly lean when it comes to some functional foods, a lot of the popular protein bars and protein cookies on the market are pushing 300-500 calories per cookie or bar, so 250 really isn't too bad.

It also contains 12 grams of fat, 25mg cholesterol, 3 grams of fiber, a fairly high 15 grams of sugar, and 10 grams of protein per serving. This isn't a daily snack that I have, but when my sweet tooth is nagging me and I'm craving something sweet this is a good alternative to a chocolate bar or other junk food. 

The Taste & Texture

So upon opening this snack for the first time it struck me as though this was popcorn which had been rolled around in Hexapro Protein Powder, and I suppose that's what it is, but it's actually quite tasty. The taste is great, the dark chocolate is a dark chocolate taste with a hint of sea salt and the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor the peanut butter flavor overpowers the chocolate flavor, but it's still great. I also love how there's no "protein aftertaste" as is the case with many protein filled functional foods.

Again, both of these taste awesome, but if pressed to pick I'd probably opt for the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt despite generally not being a huge fan of dark chocolate.

As far as the texture goes, this is going to fill you up more than a cup of the jiffy pop you have at home or movie theatre popcorn. While I wouldn't compare the texture to caramel corn, in the sense of being denser than regular popcorn its about the density of caramel corn without the crunch. 

The inside of the popcorn is airy and crispy like you'd expect from popcorn with the shell being a bit thicker, and almost creamy and chocolaty, or in the case of Chocolate Peanut Butter, peanut buttery. 

Overall Opinion

Overall I'm a big fan of Allmax's Hexapro Protein Popcorn. If you're a fan of the brands Hexapro Protein Powder you're sure to love this one. So far there's two flavors, I'd love to see Allmax expand with a Cookies and Cream option, for some reason that strikes me as a flavor profile which would be tasty in this snack.

Now again, this isn't something I eat everyday or that I'd recommend eating on the daily, but it's something nice to keep around the house when you're sweet tooth is nagging you and you wanna "cheat a little".

Redcon1 Teases All New "Aurora Borealis" Themed Total War for the Canadian Market

You know, it's not all that often that I'm jealous of our neighbors to the North in Canada. Outside of Tim Horton's, Canadian Bacon, Hockey, and Great Weed, okay I guess there is a lot I'm envious of you guys for, but outside of all that great stuff you guys got cold weather and low caffeine energy drinks.

This however is one of those occasions I'm jeaous. Redcon1 has just launched a new flavor of Total War, with a uniquely designed Aurora Borealis tub. While Redcon1 has shown us the tub, they haven't revealed what the actual flavor will be. Guessing based on the somewhat Rainbowish design of the tub and promo image Redcon1 shared, and a clue they've given us about it having a lemonade base, we're going to guess some type of lemonade style sherbert.

Redcon1 is typically pretty quick to release new flavors and doesn't tease things out for too long, so fans of the brand should see this one hitting retailers shelves in the coming weeks.

Redcon1 Reveals Macros for FUBAR Energy Shot, Official Release Date March 11

Over the past couple weeks we've posted a number of times about Redcon1's all new FUBAR Energy shot. We initially announced the product, then the flavors, and then one ingredient, that being 400mg of caffeine.

Well today Redcon1 posted on Instagram showing us the full supplement facts panel and sharing the official release date, March 11 at The Arnold.

You can checkout the full supplement panel above, but we see 30mg Niacin, 0.5mg B6, 40mcg B12, 51mcg Folate, 500mg Choline, 100mg Sodium, 35mg Potassium, a powerful 400mg Caffeine Blend, and a 110mg Neuro Blend. You can checkout all the ingredients in the blend above.

All New Dymatize Officially Licensed Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles Flavors Now Availalable

So last week we told you about Dymatize becoming the first supplement brand to officially license an actual cereal flavor, when the brand announced they'd partnered with Post Cereal to rollout both Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles flavored protein powders.

Both of these new what look to be incredibly tasty protein powders are now available at the Vitamin Shoppe where those wanting to try these cereal flavors can pick-up a 1.6lb tub, a 3lb tub, or a giant 5lb tub. Personally I'd opt for a 3 pounder of each flavor.

These will run you the same price as the normal flavors, $29.99 for the 1.6lb size, $49.99 for the 3lb size, and $74.99 for the 5 pounder which currently is only available in Fruity Pebbles.

Bang Energy CEO Reveals New Bang Protein Bar | Bang Bar Pristine Protein Nuggets

Bang Energy CEO Jack Owoc revealed today on his Instagram today an all new offering from Bang, a functional food product called Bang Bar Pristine Protein Nuggets.

Jack describes the bars as super soft and delicious, and full of high grade protein, joking that he inhaled 6 of them already today.

That's all Jack has revealed, however if we inspect the photo he posted we can garner a bit more info. The bars have 7 grams of protein which is quite low for a protein bar, although if they are low in carbs and calories that would make up for it. We also see 0 Sugars.

While the picture shows random bars scattered around, we can somewhat make out a few flavors. There looks to be a Cookies and Cream bar towards the top of the photo. What I'm guessing is a brownie or lava cake option at the bottom left, and front and center we can make out a flavor called Legendary Pumpkin Supreme.

While VPX Sports, Bang's parent company does have a Zero Impact protein bar, this would be Bang's first offering in the functional food category and the brands first protein bar. We look forward to learning more about it, checking out the macros, and seeing more of the flavor options on deck. We'll bring you more info as we get it.

InnovaPharm's Nova Pump Neuro "Nootropic Pump Supplement" Gets New Sour Apple Punch Flavor

InnovaPharms Nova Pump Neuro, a nootropic infused spin-off of their original pump supplement Nova Pump, is getting an all new flavor joining the existing Snow Cone and Mermaid Kisses flavors.

The all new flavor joining the line-up is a Sour Apple Punch flavor. Like the current flavors this one will run $54.99 for a 20 serving tub, however as is often the case when brands roll out new products and flavors, we wouldn't be surprised to see some type of sale or promo coming in the near future.

PE Science Teases a "Greens" Formula Coming This Spring

Spring is just around the corner and in addition to warmer weather, supplement line PEScience is bringing you something else to look forward to. Sometime between March and June PE Science will be rolling out a supplement in an all new category, Greens.

PE Science says they'll be bringing on a greens formula much different than anything you've seen competitors roll-out.

The brand has been light on details, only telling us a greens formula is on the way and a rough timeframe of when. They did reveal it will have a premium formula and a great taste.

We have a few months to wait for this one to roll-out, but we'll bring you more info as we get it.

Australian Supp Company Red Dragon Nutritionals Rolls Out New Cola Lemonade Flavored Fireball Fat Burner

The Australian supplement line Red Dragon Nutritionals has revealed an all new flavor for their Fat Loss Formula Fireball, which is one of the brands two flagship products. Currently, Fireball comes in a tasty Passionfruit flavor, Pineapple Juice, Raspberry Slushie, and Red Frogs. The newest flavor being added to the product is quite a bit different from those fruity flavors.

The all new flavor additional to Fireball is a Cola Lemonade flavor, however it doesn't seem to be just any old cola, it seems to be trying to emulate teh flavor of a coke bottle gummy candy, a cola slushy, and lemonade all in one.

While this all new Cola Lemonade flavor is not yet available, it should be rolling out March 13th through the brands online shop and partnering retailers.

New Supplement Line BEAM Reveals Their 3rd New Supplement... 100% Vegan Protein Powered by Mung Bean, Pea, and Pumpkin Protein

BEAM, a new supplement line, BEAM being short for "Be Amazing" is a newer supplement line who's set to launch their first four products in the coming weeks. Earlier today we wrote about their Collagen Peptides, checkout that post as it's more interesting than your average collagen supplement.

Well, BEAM has now unvelied an all new Vegan Friendly Protein Powder, simply but aptly named "100% Vegan Protein". This all new vegan and vegetarian friendly protein powder packs 20 grams of protein per serving and uses three sources to deliver this protein. Those being Pea and Pumpkin Protein which are great, but which we've seen a lot before, along with something unique, Mung Bean Protein.

BEAM 100% Vegan Protein will come in two flavors initially including a Blueberry Muffin flavor along with a Chocolate Brownie Option.

With that 20 grams of protein it also features 3 grams of carbs, no sugar, less than a gram of fat, and around 100 calories, along with trace minerals.

While every vegan protein to hit the market makes this claim with some living up to it and others not, BEAM promises this vegan protein will be one of the best tasting on the market.

New Supplement Brand BEAM to Launch Unflavored Collagen Peptides + EAA Formula Arnold Week

Newer supplement line BEAM recently unveiled the first of their four new supplements. The first one revealed was tehir whey based protein powder. The brand has just shared details about the next upcoming supplement. The second product in the line is a soon to be released Collagen Formula, however in addition to collagen peptides dosed at 10 grams, this one also features Vitamins and Minerals including Vitamin E, Biotin, and Vitamin C to help with absorption and collagen synthesis. It also includes a serving of full spectrum EAAs dosed at 3.7 grams per serving, an all packed into a convenient powder formula.

These Unflavored Collagen Peptides from BEAM will launch at the same time as the protein powder, and two other yet to be announced supplements. They'll all be revealed and launched by March 4, right in the middle of Arnold Week, and a time when supplement lines are rolling out tons of new products and flavored. RYSE Announces New Carnitine Supplement + All New Basic "Elements" Series of Supps

RYSE is a fast growing company who's doing some exciting things. The brand is introducing an all new collection of supplements here in 2020 which is called the "Elements Series" and is going to be more basic essential types of products.

The first in this all new line will be a liquid L-Carnitine formula available in two strength options, 1.5 grams of Carnitine per serving and 3 grams Carnitine per serving. Mars Rolls Out New Twix HiProtein Protein Powder Featuring 21 Grams of Protein and 140 Calories

The Candy company mars has been releasing a number of what looks to be an incredibly tasty protein powders. The European brand has rolled out Mars Bars and Snickers flavored protein powders which we've written about in the past. The all new candy bar themed flavor from the brand is an all new Twix Protein Powder. It's a whey protein powder flavored with chocolate, biscuit, and caramel flavor, and packs 21 grams of protein per serving with a fairly lean 140 calories.

The full formula behind the Twix flavor again is similar to Snickers and Mars packing 21 grams of protein, along with 5 grams of carbs, 4 grams of fat, and again 140 calories.

The Twix Protein Powder is now in stock for $32.39 for a 875 Gram bag, that's just under 2 pounds.

NLA Announces New Flavor Options for Uplift Max and Her Amino Burner

Alpha Lion's Gain-O-Rade Launching New Tropic Thunder Pineapple Flavor

Nutrabolics Announces New Caffeinated CBD Beverage Called "Nocturnal Energy Drink"

Nutrabolics is a supplement line who's put out some impressive offerings in the past year or two from their Sleep Formula Blackout to their Feed protein bar.

Here in 2020 the Canadian brand has revealed an all new beverage called Nocturnal which is the brands first new product here in 2020, and is also their first offering in the beverage category.

Nutrabolics Nocturnal is interesting both in the name, as well as the combination of CBD and Caffeine, so it's designed to provide focus and energy as well as relaxation. This seems somewhat similar to VPX Bang's Stoked Energy drink which is a CBD Beverage that comes in a caffeinated and non-caffeinated version.

No word yet on dosages of the caffeine content or the CBD, although if we had to guess, we're guessing maybe 150mg of caffaine and 25mg of CBD. We don't have an official release date as of yet either, but we're told it should be out soon.

We're excited to learn more about this drink as well as get our hands on it and give it a try.

Chemical Warfare Rebrands and Reformulates Intra Surgence in Preparation for USA Launch

European Supplement Brand Chemical Warfare went through a rebranding going into 2020 in preparation for their roll-out here in the states. The brand is set to debut at The Arnold Expo this year and in addition to the rebranding is reformulating a few of their supplements as well.

One such supplement is Chemical Warfare's Intra-Surgence EAA & BCAA Matrix which feature 7.5 grams of all 9 EAAs. In addition to the EAAs, there's also 2 grams of Glutamine a gram of Betaine a gram of Coconut Water, and added Electrolytes for Hydration.

Finaflex Reveals New Keto Friendly Fasting Fuel Supplement to Launch in April

We're huge fans of Finaflex here at The Supp Plug from their Stimul8 Pre-Workouts to their incredibly tasty Oatmeal Protein Pie's of which the brand has recently rolled out 3 new flavors including Krazy Key Lime, Georgia Peach, and Double Chocolate Chip.

The brand isn't stopping there with the new product rollouts though. Finaflex recently revealed "Fasting Fuel", an all new formula which is formulated to assist with fasting, by supporting energy levels, focus, and electrolytes.

Universal Animal Pro Bars Reveal an All New Chocolate Brownie Crunch Option

Back in 2019 at the Olympia Expo Universal's spin-off brand Animal rolled out the Animal Pro Bar.The Animal Pro Bar is currently available in two flavors, Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch, as well as a Chocolate Berry Crunch option.

The Animal Pro Bars if you haven't tried them are quite tasty, almost candy bar like, and feature 20 grams of protein, and a fairly lean 250 calories.

Animal Pro Bar initially rolled out in the two flavors mentioned above, however has not had any new flavors added since, until now that is. Next week Animal will be rolling out an all new Chocolate Brownie Crunch flavor. The all new flavor will still feature the same 20 grams of protein and 250 calories as the originals.

Thes all new Chocolate Brownie Crunch bars should be hititng Animals website next week at a cost of $27 for a 12 case. It should be rolling out to online and brick and mortar retail partners shortly after that.

The original Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch is one of our favorite protein bars right up there with Robert Irvine's Fit Crunch Bar, so we're eagerly awaiting this all new Chocolate Brownie Crunch Option.

3D Energy Drink New Chrome (Pink Lemonade) Flavor Reviewed

A few weeks back we'd posted about Christian Guzeman's 3D Energy Drink rolling out an all new Chrome Strawberry Lemonade flavor. 3D Energy is one of our favorite Energy Drinks here at The Supp Plugg, however unlike Monster and Bang, 3D isn't a company known for constantly rolling out new flavors. The most recent flavor the brand rolled out was the Special Edition Pink Cotton Candy flavor they rolled out for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. That flavor was decent, but wasn't quite as good as Bang's Cotton Candy.

Well, we managed to get our hands on a can of the all new Silver Frost Strawberry Lemonade flavor, and boy we're we impressed. Unlike most Energy Drinks which irrespective of flavor tend to be clear liquids, this one was surprisingly a pink colored beverage as you can see from the photos above. It comes in the signature Silver/Chrome can. Like the rest of the 3D Energy Drinks it packs only 15 calories, 200mg of caffeine, along with B Vitamins, Taurine, Ginseng Root, Guarana Seed Extract, and L-Carnitine.

So What Does Silver Frost 3D Energy Taste Like?

We were actually huge fans of this drink. It's not overly sweet, which can often be the case with energy drinks. The Pink Lemonade flavor was perfect. Just the right amount of caffeine, sweet without being overly sweet, and the perfect amount of carbonation. 

This may be our favorite new 3D Energy Drink flavor. The Red, White and Blue Bomb Pop style flavor was always my personal favorite, and Silver Frost may have overtaken it, however these are very different flavors a "candy" flavor vs a more traditional fruit flavor.

Anyhow, we'd highly recommend giving this one a try. I managed to pick mine up from a local brick and mortar supplement store, however you can pick-up a full 12 case for $26.99 over at My Supplement Store. It will likely be a few weeks before we see this one begin rolling out to gas stations and brick and mortar sports nutrition shops.

All New Outright Crisp Bars are Now Available

The long awaited Outright Crisp Protein Bars are now available for purchase. This all new spin-off of the original Outright Bar features all the same ingredients, but has crispy protein pieces added to give it a bit more texture. The all new bars are now available at Tiger Fitness in a Double Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter flavor.

Now that the bars have officially rolled out, we've had a look at the supplement facts. The all new Crisp Outright Bars feature 20 grams of protein, 20 grams of carbs, 14 grams of fat, and 290 calories. While they aren't the leanest functional food, they  more than make up for it in taste.

These bars have just become available as of today and cost just slightly more than the original Outright Bar. You can grab a single bar for $2.59, or a 12 box for $26.99 which works out to $2.50 per bar. This is just slightly more than the original which sold by the case for $24.99

For now these are available in a single flavor option, however we would imagine we'll see new flavors rolling out in the near future.

Redcon1 FUBAR Energy Shots to Feature 400mg of Caffeine along with B Vitamins, Taurine, Theobromine, Choline, and More

A few weeks back Redcon1 had revealed they'd be rolling out an all new Energy Shot called Fubar. Following that Redcon1 revealed the 3 flavors this all new beverage would come in, which turned out to be Cherry Lime, Orange Crush, and Grape. Well, we have a bit more information about this all new product from Redcon1.

Fubar is will be sold as single shots for $2.99, or $29.88 for a 12 Case which comes to $2.49 per shot. Fubar Energy shots will be more like a 5 Hour Energy than a pre-workout supplement, but it will feature a blend of B Vitamins, Taurine, Theobromine, Choline, and Huperzine A. Most impressive however is the caffeine content. FUBAR Energy Shots will feature a whopping 400mg of caffeine, a 100mg over what a Bang Energy Drink and similar energy drinks contain.

It's generally recommended people consume 400mg of caffeine or less per day, so for those of us who aren't stimheads or don't need the full 400mg of caffeine, Redcon1 has marked the shots with a halfway mark for those who want to split a single shot into two uses.

We don't yet have an official release date, however according to what Redcon1 has been saying and because they are releasing more information about this product we're guessing this one should be out fairly soon. Plant Based One Bar to Add 2 New Flavor Options Carrot Cake and Churro

Late last year, One Brands rolled out a plant based vegan and vegetarian friendly version of their flagship One Protein Bar. The plant based version packs 12 grams of protein from plant sources, along with 21 grams of carbs, a gram of sugar, and a lean 165 calories.

When One rolled out the all new plant based bar, it was initially available in two flavor options, Banana Nu Bread and Chocolate Peanut Butter. One has announced two new flavors which should be available very soon. The all new flavors are a Churro flavor and a Carrot Cake flavor.

The all new flavors should feature roughly the same macros as the originals. No word yet on when these products will become available, but a handful of supplement retailers already have them listed on their sites as either out of stock or pre-orders, so it shouldn't be too much longer.

More News on Dymatize All New Cocoa Pebbles and Fruity Pebbles Protein Powder Flavors

Dymatize recently made an exciting announcement, becoming the first in the supplement industry to officially license authentic cereal flavors with their recent deal with Post, licensing Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Crispy to be used in their ISO 100 Protein Powder.

These all new unique flavors are going to be available in three sized tubs, a small 1.6 pound tub, a mid sized 3 pound tub, and a large 5 pounder.

There's a bit more news about this all new rollout. While the smaller sized tubs should be available both online as well as with Brick and Mortar retailers, the large 5 pound tub will be exclusive to brick and mortar retailers.

Alani Nu Fit Snacks Gummy Bears Now Available

Alani Nu's long awaited Fit Snacks Gummy Bears have arrived. While Alani Nu is a cool brand, and Gummy Bears are some of my favorite snacks. This offering from Alani Nu seems to be a bit underwhelming, despite all the excitement leading up to the release.

So when these Gummy Bears were announced it was a little unclear whether these were intended to be a supplement with Fiber or Vitamins, or whether it was just a healthier alternative to one of our favorite snacks, Gummy Bears.

Well, Alani Nu's Fit Snacks Gummy Bears have arrived. They don't pack any Fiber, Vitamins, Minerals or much else. They are fairly lean at 90 calories, however they also have 34 grams of Carbohydrates which amounts to about 12% of your daily allowance.

So since Alani Nu Fit Snacks Gummy Bears don't provide any vitamins, nutrients, or really beneficial, how much "healthier" are they than traditional Gummy Bears? Well let's look to the back of a bag of my personal favorites, Haribo Gummy Bears. Haribo Gummy Bears have 100 calories for a similar size serving, along with 23 grams of Carbs which works out to 8% of your daily allowance. This compared to Alani Nu's Gummy Bears which have 34 grams of carbs and 12% of your daily allowance.

I may wind up grabbing a bag of Alani Nu Fit Snacks Gummy Bears just to say I tried them, and to bring you guys a review, however it seems like somewhat of a pointless product since it provides no nutritional value and is actually less "healthy" than a bag of great tasting Haribo Gummy Bears.
