Bang Radical Skadattle Review
Those of you who are fans of Bang Energy Drinks are most likely already familiar with the brands strategy of announcing new "Mystery Flavors" and teasing them on social media prior to releasing them.
We've had a couple new Bang flavors in recent months. First was the two Military Exclusive flavors Purple Kiddles and Strawberry Blast. Those flavors however were exclusive to Military Bases. With the 4rth of July just around the corner however, we wouldn't be surprised to see those flavors roll out to the general public in the next week or so. There was however another new Bang Mystery Flavor release which was available to the general public.
Earlier this spring Bang Energy began teasing out an all new mystery flavor. The Instagram and Facebook posts showed rocker bands and 90's color schemes. Eventually Bang revealed the flavor as being an all new flavor called Radical Skadattle.
What's interesting about Radical Skadattle, unlike most Bang flavors where the name alludes to what the taste is, ie. Birthday Cake Bash, Candy Apple Crisp, etc, the name Radical Skadattle still however leaves us wondering what this taste will be?
So in today's post we're going to breakdown and review the all new Radical Skadattle flavor for you guys. Our initial thought was Skittles just due to the closeness of the words "Skittles" and "Skadattle". So let's find out what it tastes like.
What Flavor is Bang Energy's Radical Skadattle?
So prior to actually trying the all new Radical Skadattle myself I decided to watch a couple other reviews of the flavor. One Youtuber said it tasted exactly like Purple Kiddles and questioned whether it was the same drink in a different can. Others have compared it to everything from Tropical Skittles to Watermelon and even Bubble Gum. I even saw someone say "this is what Rainbow Unicorn should have tasted like".
Despite smelling it, tasting it, and pouring over it, I couldn't nail down a flavor. It's definitely a candy flavor and I can pick up on hints of everything mentioned above. If I had to put a label on it I'd probably agree with the Tropical Skittles flavor.
Bang's Radical Skadattle is a candy flavor and sweet, without being syrupy or overly sweet. I'd probably put it in my top 5 Bang flavors right up there with Starblast, Sourheads, Frose Rose, Peach Mango, and Pina Colada.
