Redcon1 Hemper FI | Is Redcon1 Rolling Out a Hemp or CBD Based Product?

Earlier today Redcon1 announced an all new RTD Energy Shot called FUBAR which is set to launch sometime in February. While digging around Google looking for some more information about this product we happened to stumble upon some Trademark filings and noticed a Trademark update from January 28, 2020, for a new product called Hemper FI. The initial Trademark was filed back in March of 2019.

While we don't have much info to go off of, based on the name, it's pretty safe to assume this is likely going to be some type of Hemp or CBD based product, both of which are incredibly popular categories, and both of which are categories Redcon1 has not yet ventured into.

Again, we have very little to go on here, but we wouldn't be surprised to see a Hemp or CBD based product coming from Redcon1 here sometime in 2020. We're thinking either a Hemp Based Vegan Protein Powder or some type of CBD Product.

While searching through some other Trademarks the brand has filed we may also be seeing a product called M.A.S.H. rolling out sometime in 2020 as well. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.

Redcon1 Announces All New RTD Energy Shot Called FUBAR

Redcon1 today announced an all new product that's an entry into an all new category for the brand, an RTD Energy shot. The all new product is called Redcon1 FUBAR and is an on the go shot.

Redcon1's FUBAR aims to provide long lasting energy and mental focus, and all packed into a conveneint 3 ounce shot. Initially FUBAR will only come in a single flavor Cherry Lime, however Redcon1 tends to roll out a  lot of flavors so if this product is a success we'll likely see other flavors being added in the future.

This was just announced so we don't have much info to go off of beyond this initial announcement, we haven't seen a supplement panel, a price, and we don't  yet have a release date but this should be available sometime in February.

Bowmar Nutrition Adds New Flavors to their Dairy Free Protein Powder Line

Today Bowmar Nutrition is launching the 2nd flavor for their Dairy-Free Protein Powder which is made with egg white protein and no dairy. This all new flavor option is one that is already available in their Whey Protein Powder, the new flavor being added to the non-dairy protein powder is Grandma Linda's Famous French Toast.

Sometime later this morning the all new french toast flavor will join the dairy free line, and we have word in the near future they'll also be adding a Lemon Pound Cake flavor. All New Gamma Labs G Fuel Sour Chug Rug RTD Energy Drink

Gamma Labs G Fuel Energy Drink has announced an all new flavor. The G Fuel RTD Energy Drinks were initially rolled out last June in four flavors including Blue Ice, Sour Cherry, Rainbow Sherbert, and FaZeberry.

It's now been confirmed they will be rolling out an all new Sour Chug Rug flavor in collaboration with FaZe Rg from the eSports Clan FaZe Clan. To date there has not been an official release date set as of yet, however Gamma Labs tells us it's coming soon. One thing we do know is G Fuel products tend to sell out fast, so we'll bring you more info when we have it, and if you're interested in picking this one up we'd suggest acting fast!

Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard Whey RTD Protein Drinks Now Available Outside of GNC

Not too long ago Optimum Nutrition introduced the brand's first Ready to Drink (RTD) Protein Shakes, following what Quest Nutrition and other brands have been doing rolling out RTD versions of their protein powders. These all new RTD protein drinks however were initially only available through GNC. A case of 12 beverages initially rolled out at GNC for $34.99 for a 12 case which comes in two flavors, Chocolate and Vanilla, each packing 24 grams of protein with 150 calories per shake.

These all new RTD protein shakes have finally arrived on Optimum's own website, and should be rolling out to other retailers in the near future, so keep your eyes out for it.

A recent trend we've begun to see is energy drink companies adding thermogenic ingredients to their beverages and creating fat burning energy drinks. Rockstar Energy recently announced and released Rockstar Thermo X, an all new thermogenic Rockstar Energy drink that also contains BCAAs.

One unique thing about this drink compared to Monsters Reign and Bang Energy Drinks is that Rockstar actually tells you the dosage of BCAAs in their beverage, and it packs in 1,000mg of BCAAs per can.

In addition to the BCAAs Rockstar Thermo also packs in 300mg of caffeine for energy, Green Tea, CoQ10, and Zero Calories. Rockstar Thermo X has announced they will be hitting Canada as well, however the Canadian version will feature 40% less caffeine at 180mg per can. This is because Canada caps how much caffeine can be in each energy drink by volume. When Bang Energy was introduced to Canada a while back they also lowered the normal 300mg to 180mg due to Canada's regulations.

This all new Thermogenic Energy Drink from Rockstar Energy will arrive in two flavors in the USA, Neon Blast and Tropical Fire, but will roll out four flavors for the Canadian Market including Cotton Candy, Hardcore Apple, Marshmallow, and Blue Raz.

The Genius Brand Adds New Mango Flavor to Genius Consciousness Nootropic Formula

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Plant Protein Adding Unflavored Option

Way back in 2017 Optimum Nutrition rolled out a vegan and vegetarian plant based protein called Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Plant. The new product initially rolled out in 3 flavors including Chocolate, Vanilla, and a Fruity Berry option.

It's recently come out that Optimum Nutrition is adding an unflavored option which will still pack 24 grams of vegan friendly plant based protein sourced from Organic Pea, Rice, and Sacha Inchi Proteins.

Fireball Labz Reveals a New Powdered Version of Incinerator, To Be Available in Two Flavors

The new but fast growing supplement brand Fireball Labz last year had announced an all new fat burning product called Incinerator. While that supplement is only about a month old, the brand has decided it's time to rollout a flavored version.

Allmax Nutrition Announces Their First Protein Snackbar

Allmax Nutrition historically hasn't ventured into the functional food space much, outside of their recent HexaPro Protein Popcorn, which was actually quite delicious. This week however the popular Canadian supplement brand has announced an all new high protein functional food snack in a more traditional format than popcorn. The all new product is called the Allmax Protein Snackbar Sport.

This all new functional food from Allmax is a layed crispy creamy protein bar formulated with real peanut butter, tasty graham crackers, and chocolate. Black Magic Reformulates BZRK + Adds Two New Flavors Cosmic Burst and Haterade

VPX Sports was the company who essentially re-invented the energy drink with their Bang Energy Drink. Previously where as brands like Monster, Rockstar, and Redbull dominated the field, Bang was the first energy drink to up to caffeine to 300mg, as well as adding ingredients like BCAAs, Super Creatine, and CoQ10. Since then we saw Monster and others try to copy and piggyback on this style of energy drink with Monster Reign, and others.

Well, NOS Energy Drink is now entering this field with an all new drink called NOS Turbo in an effort to compete with Monster Reign and Bang Energy Drinks. The all new drink from NOS features a similar looking design and will come with 300mg of caffeine for energy, along with BCAAs, and of course zero sugar. The 300mg of caffeine in the NOS Turbo is quite a jump from the original NOS which had only 160mg of caffeine per can.

No official word on when this is going to rollout, but in the earlier half of 2020 most likely.

CBD Freak All New CBD Supplement from PharmaFreak

Canadian Supplement Brand PharmaFreak, best known for their intense Pre-Workout supplement SuperFreak has shared a sneak peak at an interesting new CBD product the brand has in production. While CBD is a growing category and is incredibly popular, we haven't seen a ton of larger brands venturing into the space.

The upcoming product set to be called CBD Freak is a full spectrum CBD formula in capsule form. No word yet on the dosage, and we can't quite make it out from the label. Most companies seem to put out the same standard 10mg capsules, however because the brand isn't afraid to go big, we wouldn't be surprised to see potentially a 25mg capsule.

Limitless Supplements is a smaller supplement company you most likely haven't heard of before. It's a smaller supplement company in the western suburbs of Chicago. We wound up getting our hands on a bottle of their fat burner Limitless Lean which uses a formula based of synthesized ingredients as well as natural ones and aims to burn fat, suppress appetite and curb cravings, and provide users with energy. We had a chance to give Limitless Lean a test drive, and we're going to break it down and review it for you today.

Breaking Down the Ingredients of Limitless Lean

For those of you who want to checkout the full list of ingredients you can do so on the supplement facts panel below. Limitless Lean features a pretty long list of ingredients, again some of which are synthesized and other natural ingredients. Limitless lean is heavy on the stimulants, but does provide a variety of stimulant ingredients, some providing a short term burst of energy and some longer lasting. It also features some ingredients for appetite suppression and metabolism.

Now let's break down some of the ingredients in Limitless Lean and what this formula as a whole aims to do. There's no denying Limitless Lean packs a punch with the stimulants with a healthy dose of DMAA, caffeine, yohimbine, and other stimulants, this is a powerful fat burner no doubt. Upon taking Limitless Lean you do get that stim fueled feeling behind the eyes and an increase in energy. As the pill wore off a bit I did get that sense of focus, though early on I was so stimulated I had a bit of a hard time focusing. 

Limitless Lean will no doubt suppress your appetite and even kick your body into thermogenesis, I was sweating a bit about 30 minutes after taking it, and when taking it while working out I was dripping sweat. This is longer lasting than some other fat burners on the market, however as is the case with many fat burners there is a bit of a crash as the pill is wearing off. 

Limitless Lean isn't a bad fat burner and stim-heads will likely enjoy it. That said there's definitely more balanced fat burners out there and at $59.99 for a 60 serving bottle it's a bit pricey, especially considering you can pick-up a bottle of something like Hi-Tech's Lipodrene with 100 capsules for $34.99.

RXBar Rolls Out New Chocolate Raspberry Flavored RXBar

RXBar, the maker of the one of the most straightforward functional foods on the market RXBar has announced an all new flavor rolling out this week. The all new Chocolate Raspberry flavor is a very fitting flavor and packaging seeing as how it's coming out about a month in advance of Valentines Day.

Alpha Lion SuperHuman Announces New Formula with DMHA Removed | Stock-Up on the Original While You Still Can!!!

The Supplement company Alpha Lion, known for their Flagship supplements SuperHuman and Gain-O-Rade, have recently announced an All New Formula via Instagram. While the overall formula has been changed in a number of ways, the main change is the removal of DMHA. DMHA is a stimulant ingredient which the FDA has been putting pressure on supplement companies to remove from their Pre-Workout and Fat Burning Formulas, and apparently Alpha Lion is following suit.

Some supplement users and fans of the brand are excited. Many people find DMHA to be too intense with some users reporting it causing headaches, nausea, and digestive issues. The verdict seems to be split however, as on the Alpha Lion Instagram account some fans of the brand are calling them sellouts and complaining that they caved and neutered this once great supplement.

As far as some of the changes made to Alpha Lion SuperHuman, they added 100mg of Theobromine a naturally occuring stimulant, along with 50mg of AstraGin for absorption. They also upped the dosage of Betaine Anhydrous to 2500mg for increased strength and performance, and of course the biggest change, they removed DMHA.

Cellucor C4 SuperBrain Smart Energy Review

So we had our chance to choose between Electric Sour, Cotton Candy, and Peach Mango Nectar. We selected the Electric Sour flavor which wound up tasting somewhat like a combination of a Lemon Lime Gatorade, along with some sourness. I'd almost compare it to drinking a Lemon Lime Gatorade with a sour head in your mouth. 

If you take a large sip you don't get a ton of the sourness of this drink. If you take a tiny sip you for some reason get a lot more of the sour flavor. The drink isn't quite as sweet or sour as a Bang SourHeads flavored drink, and I actually prefer this to Bang Sourheads. 

As far as effects, the Nootropic and Cognitive effects are definitely noticeable. Whenever I take Nootropics I get a feeling almost as if little fingers are massaging my brain, I can actually feel my mind being stimulated for lack of a better word and that's definitely noticeable after drinking even half a can of this Nootropic Energy Drink.

Would I Recommend It?

I would definitely recommend trying C4 SuperBrain Smart Energy. The taste is on point, the perfect amount of carbonation and not overly sweet. The Electric Sour Flavor was tasty, I'm anxious to try Cotton Candy and Peach Mango Nectar. If you like Nootropics and/or Energy Drinks I'd highly recommend picking up a can.

Merica Labz Red, White, and Boom RTD Drinks to Get 2 New Flavors Including a Swedish Fish Flavored Drink

One of our favorite supplement brands here at the Supp Plugg, Merica Labz has some exciting plans for 2020. Merica Energy, the energy drink wing of Merica Labz has launched a total of 4 new flavors over the past year including Merican Classic, Victory, and most recently Liberty and Justice which were recently released.
