It seems a lot of big companies are trying to enter the Supplement and Sports Nutrition space. Recently we wrote about Coca Cola's plans to roll out an Energy Drink in early 2020. Now we have News The Mars Candy company is getting into the protein powder market.
The Mars Candy Company will be rolling out Mars HiProtein and Snickers HiProtein candy protein powders. Mars had rolled out a Mars protein powder back in 2017, however these two new protein powders are different form that original formula in both ingredients and nutritional facts.
These protein powders aim to taste like Snickers and Mars Bars. Initial impression is wow, this stuff is probably going to taste amazing, and I imagine it's not going to be as healthy as some other protein powders on the market, but surprisingly, they seem to have pretty good macros. These all new protein powders are going to have 21 grams of protein per serving from Whey Protein, along with 4 grams of fat, 5 grams of carbs, and only 140 calories.
These new protein powders will initially be dropping in the UK first, but will ship internationally and will most likely eventually make it over here to the states. Rather than coming in a tub as protein powders typically do, these will come in a 25 serving bag. We're excited to see what these taste like and we'll keep you posted with a review once these go live.
