Supplement brand Insane Labz, the maker of the popular pre-workout Psychotic, has come out with an all new pre-workout. This one set to be a bit more mellow, and not quite as extreme. This all new pre-workout from Insane Labz goes by the same name Psychotic, however this one is Psychotic Black. This new pre-workout was designed to be a more moderate stimulant pre-workout which Insane says has enough energy to get the job done, but not so much that it puts you over the top. I think this is a segment of the market a lot of supplement brands and products fail to meet. Some of us want a pre-workout and want some energy, but don't want that my eyes are about to pop out of my head feeling.
Psychotic Black has a similar ingredient profile as the original Psychotic and features a non-transparent blend of 4.7 grams, which can be doubled up and taken as a two scoop serving which comes to 9.4 grams.
This Psychotic Black blend features Creatine Monohydrate, Beta Alanine, Taurine, L-Tyrosine, Caffeine Anhydrous, AMPiberry, Di-Caffeine Malate, and Caffeine Citrate. While generally not a huge fan of non-transparent blends, I will say this one has diverse sources of energy which is good to see, along with creatine and beta alanine for pumps. It seems to be a pretty well rounded pre-workout.
