New "Want A Bump" Snortable Caffeine Powder

  

Earlier this morning when I was scrolling Instagram something interesting came across my feed, an all new snortable powdered energy supplement called Want A Bump. 

Want A Bump is a snortable energy powder which is a combination of caffeine and inositol. You're obviously probably familiar with caffeine, inositol incase your not familiar is a type of sugar alcohol which is classified as a B Vitamin and which plays a role in cellular signalling, mood regulation, liver health, and hair growth. Inositol is actually a popular cutting agent used by drug dealers however it makes sense in this product as well not only because it's something that can be sniffed or snorted, but also because it can help tame anxiety so in the same way that L-Theanine is often mixed into preoworkouts to keep down the jitters, this should help calm the caffeine in this supplement. 

Now aside from just thinking this was a unique delivery system for caffeine, one of my first thoughts was oh my gosh someone is definitely going to OD on caffeine with this product. Years ago powdered caffeine products were very popular as was people making their own preworkouts however many people wound up making themselves very ill and some even dying due taking too much caffeine so you very rarely see bulk caffeine available anymore these days, at most it's in capsules. 

Upon looking more into this product, each serving of 100mg contains 40mg of caffeine and 60mg of inositol so a bump is essentially a can of Coca Cola, and two bumps is equivalent to about a cup of coffee. There's only 10 servings to a container so even if you were to snort the entire bottle it would only be 400mg of caffeine which while not a trivial amount is only slightly more than a Bang Energy Drink and the equivalent of many mainstream preworkout supplements.

I like the novelty of this product, I could definitely see some young Gen Z broccoli heads at the gym having fun with it. Is it practical, probably not so much but it is a fun product and a unique delivery system for caffeine.
