APS Mesomorph Gets Reformulated with the Addition of Geranium Extract & Quebracho Blanco Extract

 

Pre-Workouts are probably one of the most commonly taken supplements right up there next to Creatine and Protein Powders. When it comes to Pre-Workout supplements, aside from something like C4, not many products are more well known than APS Nutrition's Mesomorph Pre-Workout. Mesomorph first hit the scene way back around 2013 and packed a mean punch with the DMAA it originally contained. Sometime around 2017 as the FDA began cracking down on DMAA, APS along with most other supplement manufacturers began removing DMAA from their formula. Despite it no longer having the DMAA, Mesomorph remained one of the most popular and most used Pre-Workouts on the market.

For those of you who've been living under a rock and haven't heard of or tried Mesomorph, it's a great pre-workout. Not only does it pack a good amount of energy, but it's a very well rounded pre-workout providing users with plenty of focus, pumps, and energy, along with creatine and a few other ingredients for adding muscle mass. 

Well, we've recently caught wind that APS Nutrition is once again reformulating their Mesomorph Pre-Workout Formula. We snagged the image below from Best Price Nutrition, a retailer who sells APS Mesomorph. The image shows the old formula, side by side with the new formula. The formulas for the most part remain the same, the NO Complex and the Volumizing Matrix remain unchanged. The Stimulant Matrix has switched up a bit. APS removed Senegalia Berlandieri Extract and a few other fairly meaningless ingredients, but they added two new exciting editions. They've added Geranium Extract which is the precursor to DMAA and is an ingredient we saw added to the reformulations of Jack3D and OxyElite Pro. They also added Quebracho Blanco Extract. While we intitially weren't familiar with what this ingredient was, after doing a little research it appears the main ingredient is Yohimbe. Yohimbe is a stimulant and thermogenic ingredient which is a popular addition to many fat burners and pre-workouts, and is an ingredient we're increasingly seeing being added to pre-workout and fat burning products.

So what can we expect from this all new formula of APS Mesomorph? For the most part things should remain the same as most of the formula hasn't changed. What can you expect? Well you can expect the same tingles, the same pumps, the same muscle development. On the stimulant front however you can expect a bit more energy and possibly a cleaner energy with the addition of the Geranium Extract as well as the Quebracho. You can also likely expect some increased thermogenesis and more sweating while working out due to the addition of the Quebracho.

We haven't heard from APS Nutrition or their retail partners when the new formula will be available, but we'd expect to see it sometime in the coming weeks. We'll keep you posted as we learn more.
