What is Bird Brain Energy Drink?
Bird Brain Energy is a "more natural" and less sugary energy drink which aims to help enhance cognitive function, improve focus, boost motivation, and support a good mood and a positive sense of well-being. In simpler terms, as the brand puts it, its' designed to "Make Your Brain Suck Less".

Bird Brain Energy comes in three flavors including Original Citrus, which is a light tangerine like flavor, Berry Lemonade, and Sour Apple. We had a chance to try the Original Citrus flavor. If you're accustomed to sweet and sugary energy drinks like Redbull, Bang, and Monster Energy, you'll likely find this one doesn't have that pucker your mouth sweetness to it, which could be good or bad thing dependent on what type of flavor profile you like.
Personally I enjoyed it, it wasn't overpowering, it was crisp and fresh and had a decent flavor to it. While I did enjoy the taste, I will say this is something you're likely going to drink for the effects more so than for the taste. Like Bang, 3D, Monster and most other popular energy drinks on the market this one features 0 calories and 0 sugar, and 12 grams of carbs. It has an assortment of B Vitamins, 500mg of L-Tyrosine, 500mg of L-Carnitine, 150mg of AlphaSize Choline, 150mg of Caffeine, and 25mg of L-Theanine.
One thing I really like about Bird Brain Energy is it doesn't punch you in the face with caffeine, the focus is more on the B Vitamins and Nootropic ingredients, though it does 150mg of caffeine, about half of that of a Bang Energy Drink for example, but enough to put a little pep in your step and give you a bit more focus and energy. The L-Theanine is a bit light, we'd like to see 2x or 3x the amount of L-Theanine for the full effects of this ingredient, however it tends to be a bittery and chalky ingredient and supplements and energy drinks often have a chalky or bitter taste because of it. Due to this beverage not being over the top sweet or having artificial sweeteners we're assuming they kept the L-Theanine load light to keep it tasting good.
As far as the effects, there's definitely a noticeable boost in brain function, focus, concentration, and memory. It's not over the top, you don't necessarily feel your brain tingling like some similar products, but personally I don't always want to feel that way.
