WheyUp Expands Beyond Powders with the Launch of a Caffeinated Protein Bar

Whey Up Protein Caffeine Bar

WheyUp is taking its signature protein-meets-energy concept into a new category with the debut of the WheyUp Protein Bar. The brand originally entered the sports nutrition market with a unique clear protein powder that combined high-quality protein with coconut water electrolytes and a boost of caffeine. Now, it is applying that same hybrid philosophy to the increasingly competitive functional snack space.

The newly launched WheyUp Protein Bar delivers 20 grams of protein per serving using a blend of whey, collagen, and casein proteins. Alongside its protein content, each bar provides 16 grams of carbohydrates, just 1 gram of sugar, 9 grams of fat, and a total of 200 calories. What sets the product apart from traditional protein bars, however, is the addition of 65 milligrams of naturally sourced caffeine designed to offer a mild energy boost throughout the day.

The combination of protein and caffeine could appeal to consumers looking for more than just a post-workout snack. Whether used as a pre-training option, an afternoon pick-me-up, or a convenient way to curb hunger while maintaining energy levels, WheyUp's latest innovation aims to serve multiple purposes in a single product.

Currently, the WheyUp Protein Bar is available in a crispy Double Chocolate flavor, bringing a familiar taste profile to an otherwise unconventional formula. The bars are sold directly through the company's website in boxes containing 12 servings, with a retail price of $42 per box, or approximately $3.50 per bar.

As functional foods continue to evolve, brands are increasingly searching for ways to differentiate themselves in crowded categories. By blending performance-focused nutrition with a moderate dose of caffeine, WheyUp is carving out its own niche within the protein bar market and offering consumers an alternative to the standard high-protein snack.
