Ghost Energy used to be the king of collabs. Sour Patch Kids, Warheads, Bubblicious—these were flavors that made you want to try every single can. They were bold, fun, and actually tasted like what they claimed to be. Now it feels like we’re heading into some weird new territory, and not in a good way.
The newest flavor dropping is Raspberry Cream. Yeah, cream. Like a raspberry cream popsicle. It drops July 23 on the Ghost App and hits retail in September. Sounds fine on paper, but this might be part of a bigger trend. There are rumors of more cream flavors coming like Blueberries and Cream, maybe even Strawberries and Cream. It’s starting to look like the whole lineup is turning into a soft-serve ice cream shop.
Let’s be real, that’s a downgrade.
Orange Cream was cool as a one-off. It hit the nostalgia vibe and people liked it. But if everything going forward is just some fruity cream combo, it’s gonna get old fast. Creamy flavors aren’t bad, they just don’t hit the same as a mouth-puckering Sour Patch Kids or a blast of nostalgia from a Warheads collab. Those stood out. Cream? Not so much.
Ghost Energy still nails the formula—200mg natural caffeine, NeuroFactor, zero sugar, and solid focus. But flavor is what sets them apart. If this is the new direction, it feels like they’re playing it way too safe.
Hopefully this is just a side road and not the main path, because I think most fans want loud, sour, sweet, and fun—not melted popsicle vibes.
