All New Original Flavor Ghost Energy Drink Coming Soon

Ghost Energy Drink Original Flavor

Ghost Energy Drinks haven't been around all that long, though they've quickly risen to become one of the most popular energy drinks in the market, in large part due to their flavor collaborations with mainstream food and candy brands like Sour Patch Kids, War Heads and Bubblicious, along with collaborations with those in the gaming industry like their Faze Pop flavor.

Way back when energy drinks first became popular in the USA we didn't have many if any candy or fruit flavors, most energy drinks were that undescribable classic energy drink flavor, think Redbull, Original Monster and Original Rockstar. Redbull launched back in '97, with Rockstar and Monster following in 2001 and 2003. It wasn't until the late 2000's we began getting more fruity and candy style flavors.

Well Ghost Energy is doing a throwback with an all new Classic or Original Energy Drink flavor. While we don't know exactly what the flavor profile will be like it will likey be something like a Classic Redbull or Rockstar flavored drink.

The biggest change with this new flavor will be that it will come in an 8 ounce can as opposed to the traditional 16oz can of Ghost, it will also feature half the caffeine at 100mg per can as opposed to the usual 200mg. The other big change, at least initially will be the distribution. Reportedly you won't be able to find the Original Ghost Energy Drink flavor at your local gas station or grocery store, we're hearing these flavors, again at least initially will only be available at concerts, festivals and sporting events. The small cans make sense as at these events people are often drinking alcohol so it makes sense to have a smaller more drinkable can and a little less caffeine, these are more a between drinks pick me up you'd maybe enjoy with a glass of water between sets.

We're anxious to see what this all new flavor will taste like and while these won't be available at your local gas station, at least not initially, we're guessing these drinks will wind up making their way onto resale sites like eBay and Amazon, so keep your eye out for them.
