Reviewing Insane Labz New Hemp Infused Pre Workout STRAIN

When it comes to Pre Workouts, there's no shortage of products on the market, however sometimes it seems like everything has been done and most pre workouts hitting the market are more of the same ingredients, with just a different spin on the marketing. Until now that is, Insane Labz has just dropped an all new pre workout supplement called Strain, the unique thing about Strain being that it's the first ever Hemp Infused Pre Workout supplement. Insane Labz Strain contains a patented branded form of hemp extract called nextHEMP which aims to improve focus and mind/muscle connection while training, but even more so was put into this pre workout to lessen post workout soreness. 

Strain has probably been on the market for more than a year, however very few people, even among Insane Labz fans seem to know about this one, likely because it contains Hemp and therefore can't be sold on a lot of platforms and by a lot of shops due to issues with merchant processing for products that contain hemp or CBD. We managed to get our hands on a tub and took it for a test drive and that's what we're going to be talking about in todays post.

So just giving this pre workout a quick overview, Insane Labz is the brand, they're known for putting out high quality and high stim pre workouts including their flagship Psychotic preworout of which they've put out a number of variants of ie Psychotic Gold, Psychotic Black, and Psychotic HellBoy. 

Like most Insane Labz pre workouts this one does contain a proprietary blend. Now typically I'm not a big fan of proprietary blends, I like transparent formulas, I like to know what I'm taking and how it's dosed. That said I've never had any complaints about any Insane Labz supplements so I do trust the quality of the ingredients and that they are properly dosed. The one thing Insane Labz has revealed is that Strain contains 150mg of caffeine, they don't disclose how much nextHEMP Extract is in there. 

Taking a look at the Strain Blend, its 6.8 grams and contains Tyosine, Beta Alanine, Tyrosine, Betaine Anhydrous, Caffeine Anhydrous, AMPiBerry, Hemp Extract, and Yohimbine. Now while this one doesn't seem very stim heavy it actually provides a lot more energy than I expected it to. The Beta Alanine gives you the tingles and definitely provides noticeable muscle endurance, the Tyrosine provides some nice focus and a noticeable mind/muscle connection and the biggest benefit which I imagine comes from the nextHEMP Hemp Extract is that I'm rarely if ever sore or noticeably sore after taking Strain as my pre or intraworkout supplemnet. 

As far as the flavors I've had the chance to try the Pineapple Express as well as the Tropical Haze, both flavors are crisp and refreshing and I love how those flavors as well as the Blueberry Yum Yum keep with the weed theme.

So who will enjoy Insane Labz Strain? If you're someone who loves a really strong really stim heavy pre workout this one may not be for you. It does surprisingly hit a lot harder and provide a lot more energy than you would expect for only having 150mg of caffeine and AMPiberry, however it's not going to be on the level of say Mesomorph or Convict if you're someone who likes stims. This is really just an overall solid pre workout. It provides a good amount of energy, a moderate pump, good focus and my favorite part it really seems to do a fantastic job at alleviating post workout soreness.
