Pumpkin Spice Sparkling Water Announced as Ugly Drinks Limited Edition October Flavor

 

If you're not familiar with the Ugly Beverage company and their flavored sparkling waters, Ugly Drinks is a company out of the UK who makes flavored sparkling waters. While their core offerings are "normal" fruit flavors you'd normally expect from a carbonated water, something unique the brand does once a month is roll out a new special edition flavor. Some recent flavors have been Dr. Ugly, Marshmallow, Orange Soda, and Cherry Cola. Well, October's Limited Edition flavor is a unique one, it's been announced as being a Pumpkin Spice flavor, not something you'd typically expect from a sparkling water.

We here at the Supp Plugg actually wound up getting our hands on the Dr. Ugly flavor from last month, we made a Youtube video but never got around to writing the blog post. While we really wanted to like this brand we have to say we were hugely disappointed. We paid about $30 for a 12 case which is expensive considering you can get a case of La Croix or similar drinks for about a third of the price. Honestly, we realized we were rolling the dice with a Cola flavored sparkling water as opposed to a fruit flavor but it sounded interesting. Unfortunately we were hugely disappointed. There wasn't enough carbonated it tasted rather flat and while it had a slight Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb smell, there was very little taste. If you've ever had the flat watered down melted ice water of a foundain drink of Dr. Pepper, that's about what it tasted like to us. We will however be giving the brand another try in the future with a more traditional fruit flavor
