Not long ago Cellucor announced and rolled out their all new SuperBrain performance RTD energy drink called C4 Smart Energy. If you haven't tried it you have to check it out, if you haven't read our review of C4 Smart Energy do that as well. We're huge fans of the drink.
At the time Cellucor mentioned the drink would be eventually rolling out in a smaller 12 ounce version at some point down the road. This week the new smaller 12oz cans rollout in a case of 12 for $27.99, only slightly cheaper than the 16oz cans that go for $29.99.
There are some slight differences in the formula. The new cans contain 4oz less of beverage, it also contains 50mg less of InnovaTea Natural Caffeine, however the amount of Cognizin Citicoline stays the same at 250mg, and like the first version this has no sugar and no calories.
As far as flavors go in addition to the original two flavors of SmartBrain Cotton Candy and Electric Sour, it will also come in a Freedom Ice and a Peach Mango Nectar.
