Ancient Nutrition Plant Protein | New Vegan & Vegetarian Friendly Protein Powder from Ancient Nutrition

Ancient Nutrition Plant Protein

Ancient Nutrition probably has the largest and most widely varied selection of protein powders out there from Bone Broth Protein to Collagen Protein and every other type of protein powder under the sun. One thing the brand has surprisingly never done however is a plant protein, well up until now at least.

Ancient Nutrition recently rolled out a vegan and vegetarian friendly plant based protein called simply, Ancient Nutrition Plant Protein. The all new plant based protein powder will pack 15 grams of protein along with 4 grams of carb, and a lean 100 calories. The protein is sourced from pumpkin seeds, flaxseed, hemp seeds, sacha inchi seeds, sunflower seeds, watermelon seeds, and chia seeds so it has pretty diverse and varied protein sources. They've also added ashwagandha, reishi, cordyceps, ginseng, rhodiola, holy basil, and more.

This protein powder will roll-out initially in three flavors including Chocolate, Vanilla, and Berry varieties. This one doesn't come cheap though, Ancient Nutrition Plant Protein comes in a 12 serving tub for the hefty price of $39.95.

Plant Based One Bar to Add 2 New Flavor Options Carrot Cake and Churro

Plant Based One Bar New Flavors Carrot Cake and Churro

Late last year, One Brands rolled out a plant based vegan and vegetarian friendly version of their flagship One Protein Bar. The plant based version packs 12 grams of protein from plant sources, along with 21 grams of carbs, a gram of sugar, and a lean 165 calories.

When One rolled out the all new plant based bar, it was initially available in two flavor options, Banana Nu Bread and Chocolate Peanut Butter. One has announced two new flavors which should be available very soon. The all new flavors are a Churro flavor and a Carrot Cake flavor.

The all new flavors should feature roughly the same macros as the originals. No word yet on when these products will become available, but a handful of supplement retailers already have them listed on their sites as either out of stock or pre-orders, so it shouldn't be too much longer.

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Plant Protein Adding Unflavored Option

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Plant Protein

Way back in 2017 Optimum Nutrition rolled out a vegan and vegetarian plant based protein called Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Plant. The new product initially rolled out in 3 flavors including Chocolate, Vanilla, and a Fruity Berry option.

It's recently come out that Optimum Nutrition is adding an unflavored option which will still pack 24 grams of vegan friendly plant based protein sourced from Organic Pea, Rice, and Sacha Inchi Proteins.

While the unflavored version is not yet available it should be rolling out soon in a 19 serving tub and will sell for $30.99. This all new unflavored version would be great for those who like to add their protein to a smoothie, and don't necessarily need the chocolate or vanilla flavoring. Stay tuned for more info as to when this one becomes available.

Amazon's Revly Organic Plant Based Protein Powder

Plant Based Proteins are one of the most sought after supplements here in 2019. The fast growing Amazon Supplement company Revly earlier this summer rolled out an all new product for the plant based protein market with their Revly Plant Based Protein Powder.

Each scoop of Revly contains a solid 20 grams of protein which comes from all plant sources including pea and brown rice protein. This vegan friendly protein powder also packs some digestive support as well with LactoSpore branded probiotics, and a fruit and veggie blend including ingredients like broccoli and blueberry.

In addition to  the 20 grams of protein it also contains 2 grams of fat, 9 carbs, 2 grams of sugar, 7 grams of fiber and 130 calories. This relatively new plant based version of Revly comes in a 19 serving tub for $19.37, and is available in Chocolate and Vanilla.

While there are some plant based proteins out there with a wider variety of protein sources and a few extra grams of protein, Revely is really a steal at $19.37.

Revly Plant Based Protein Powder

How did Revly Plant Based Protein Powder Taste? It was actually pretty good. I was a little skeptical of Stevia being used as the sweetener, I prefer Cane Sugar, but it's not bad at all. This is great as a protein shake, and I even cook with it at times adding it to stews, soups, and even oatmeal. It's also not gritty like a lot of plant based proteins. I should add however that while I tried this with Coconut Milk and Water just to taste it, I personally prefer my protein powders in smoothies. I normally make a morning smoothie with Kale, a Frozen Berry Mix, and Mangos, Pineapples or whatever else I have lying around the house.

If you're looking for an affordable and tasty plant based Protein Powder, then definitely consider picking up a pound tub of Revly to give it a try.

Eat The Bear Introduces a Plant Based Protein Powder Named Vegan Protein | Snickerdoodle Flavor

Eat The Bear Vegan Protein Plant Based Protein Powder

I knew vegan friendly protein powder was a new staple in the supplement industry a few months back when I saw Redcon1 come out with Green Beret, the companies first plant based protein. This strong trend in 2019 continues with supplement company Eat The Bear jumping on the popular trend of vegan friendly protein powders and bringing out their own Vegan Protein. This new protein powder is powdered by Pea Protein which is a favorite protein source of my own and what I put into my morning smoothies.

Vegan Protein is made with raw cane sugar and all natural flavors and sweeteners. Vegan Protein doesn't skimp on the protein either, a solid 20 grams of protein with only 8 grams of carbs, 5 grams o sugar, and a single gram of fat. Pretty low in calories as well coming in at only 120 calories.

This new product from Eat The Bear right off the bat is only rolling out with a single flavor which is Snickerdoodle, and it comes in a 26 serving tub for only $39.99. You can checkout the supplement facts and macros below.
