Is DMHA Being Banned?

If you're someone who likes High Stim supplements, you may have recently noticed that many of your favorite Pre-Workout Supplements and Fat Burning and Weight Loss Supplements containing DMHA have become difficult if not impossible to get your hands on. This has led to some rumors circulating that DMHA is being banned. Even some online supplement stores recently have been hyping up and playing into this false rumor, likely to try to drive sales with frantic buyers wanting to stock up before their favorite supplements go away.  No DMHA is not being banned nor has the FDA even made any statements that come close to stating that they are even thinking about banning DMHA.

Is DMHA Being Banned?

For those of you not familiar, a few years back an ingredient called DMAA was banned. Many feel the ingredient should have never been banned in the first place since this ingredient comes from nature and since the only reason it was banned was because of a few cases where individuals took more than the recommended dosage of supplements containing DMAA. There's still currently lawsuits going on regarding the DMAA ban and it's likely to be put back on the market eventually, though things do move slowly through the courts so who knows when that will happen.

While we have heard rumors that some DMHA shipments for certain companies were stuck in customs there is no ban and other companies have been able to continue putting out DMHA weight loss supplements and fat burners with no issues, though again supply chain shortages are affecting everything from DMHA supplements to creatine and protein powders as well.

Rest assured there is no ban on DMHA. If you're looking to purchase supplements containing DMHA just be aware you may have to be willing to swap products or swap brands. One of the most popular fat burners in the country Lipodrene hasn't been on store shelves in months, however if you're open to swapping to similar products Formutech Nutrition's Lean EFX is actually owned and manufactured by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals so that's one alternative you could swap to. Alternatively we've noticed that Condemned Labz Arsyn Fat Burner has quickly become
