Turkesterone has become a popular topic of discussion on various bodybuilding and supplement forums and message boards, on Reddit, and the Fitness Influencer who has probably done the most to bring this unique ingredient to people's attention is Derek, the young Entpreneur, Fitness Influencer, and Youtuber behind the channel More Plates More Dates which focuses on bodybuilding, steroids and supplementation. Derek of More Plates More Dates also has his own line of Turkesterone Supplements which is part of the Gorilla Mind Brand.

This past year Turkesterone has been gaining a lot of attention among the bodybuilding, powerlifting and fitness community due to it's impressive results and few side effects. Many users of Turkesterone have taken to the internet to show off their before and after photos and their results form taking Turkesterone. Turkesterone seems to provide increased muscle growth, improved recovery times, and all without many of the negative side effects associated with steroids, prohormones, and other muscle growth supplements. So in today's post we're going to be spotlighting this unique ingredient which shows a lot of promise for all of you out there looking to get ripped!

What is Turkesterone?

Turkesterone is a fairly new supplement which is quickly growing in popularity among hardcore bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts, but one which hasn't yet earned mainstream attention. Turkesterone was discovered way back in the 1950's outside of the USA, however nearly 70 years later it's finally gaining attention from the bodybuilding community, trainers and fitness enthusiasts.

Turkesterone is an extract derived from the Leuzea Plant, also known as the Maral Root which is harvested in areas like Siberia, Asia, Bulgaria, and Kazakhstan, with most of the Turkesterone suppliers seemingly operating out of Kazakhstand.

Turkesterone is considered to be an adaptogen and in addition to supporting muscle growth, preventing muscle waste and promoting faster muscle recovery, it's also known for helping to alleviate anxiety and fatigue and may even help support the immune system.

Turkesterne is an ecdysteroid which is a hormonal steroid which is found in plants and insects. Ecdysteroids are in some ways similar to testosterone due to their ability to induce muscle growth, however unlike testosterone ecdysteroids don't bind to androgen receptors and don't cause many of the negative side effects of steroids such as gyno, hair loss, lethargy, or erectile dysfunction. While Turkesterone stimulates different anabolic pathways than androgenic steroids, it does seem to be the most anabolic of the muscle building ecysteroids.

What Results Can I Expect From Turkesterone?

One reason Turkesterone is becoming so popular among bodybuilders and gym rats is due to it's ability to support muscle growth and muscle recovery without many of the negative side effects of steroids. It does this by optimizing the mRNA translation process and supporting the uptake of Leucine into the muscles. Because of this positive effect on protein synthesis a positive nitrogen balance is obtained. This works to improve muscle growth, prevent muscle waste, and improves recovery times between training sessions. Like all supplements, there are no magic pills out there, if you expect muscle growth and an improved physique you'll need to eat clean and train hard, but Turkesterone does seem to deliver some pretty impressive results for users, just checkout some of the Turkesterone before and after results photos on forums like Reddit and others. One last thing Turkesterone users will appreciate is because Turkesterone doesn't amplify testosterone there's no need to take a PCT following your cycle.

Do I Need to Cycle Turkesterone?

While some users take Turkesterone supplements continually, generally speaking best practices are to cycle any supplement to keep your body from getting used it it and not having the same effect. This is true of fat burners, prohormones, preworkouts and pretty much every category of supplements. While some users do choose to take Turkesterone without cycling, it's advised to run an 8-12 week cycle followed by 2-4 weeks off.

Turkesterone Dosage

There's various types of extracts and various levels of quality of Turkesterone being sold on the market so choose carefully where you purchase. That said, assuming your taking a legit high quality Turkesterone supplement the recommended dosage is about 500mg per day which can be taken in two divided dosages if you have smaller mg capsules, or can be taken at once. It can be taken with or without food and it doesn't seem to be important what time of day its taken.

Is Turkesterone Safe? Are There Any Side Effects?

While not enough research has been done do definitely say Turkesterone is safe or unsafe, Turkesterone thus far seems to be a safe supplement to take and has few to any side effects aside from some users reporting upset stomach and nausea when taking it on an empty stomach. The few side effects we have seen tend to be positive side effects such as optimizing hormone levels, strengthening the immune system, and potentially even a mild cognitive boost.

Where To Buy Turkesterone?

The most popular Turkesterone supplement on the interwebs seems to be More Plates More Dates Gorilla Mind Turkesterone, however it's been out of stock for months. There is a well reviewed Turkesterone supplement being sold on Amazon under the brand S5 Supplement Labs. S5 Supplement Labs Turkesterone comes in a 500mg capsule which is the recommended dosage and comes with 100 capsules per bottle which is just over a 3 month supply for $29.90.
